Data Processing Center-DCS
Data processing takes place in central computer and telecommunication systems, as well as in additional systems and data warehouses.
These objects, called the server room or system room, contain servers and data stores. Data centers are usually divided into two categories: specialized data centers and specialized Internet data centers. Specialized data centers serve and use only one organization. On the other hand, data centers on the Internet work to provide information to third parties.
However, they differ depending on the severity of the information stored in the data centers and the safety of electrical and mechanical systems. As a rule, data centers have backup power supplies, including backup communication channels, air cooling systems, fire extinguishing systems and protection against possible hazards, including appropriate systems depending on the degree of data protection.

The data center resembled large computer rooms at the beginning of the era of the computer industry. The organization of their work and the maintenance of the first computer systems were a complex process and required special working conditions. The first computer networks were created by connecting a large number of cable connections and devices. It also required various procedures and methods. For example, data centers currently use the same equipment as the first computer networks, special shelves, screens, and cable boards. Serious efforts have been made to ensure that the host is cooled so that it does not overheat. Security was very important because quite expensive computers were used for military purposes. The processing of critical information in the centers required permission to access the computer room. Computers began to appear everywhere, especially in the 1980s, when the microprocessor industry was developing, but the demand for them in many business processes was rejected. But companies have realized the need to manage information resources to improve the functioning of information technology. The client-server model, a network architecture, began to replace old computer rooms in the 1990s with the development of microprocessors (now called servers). Due to the availability of prices for network equipment, new standards were established for structured cable networks, which made it possible to create a hierarchy of servers located in special rooms at workplaces. The term "data center", which is a specially designed computer room, is one of the most widely used nowadays.
